1. Tests twisted line pairs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and G one by one (pair) and can identify which pair is faulty, short-circuited, or open-circuited. 2. The ON switch sets normal test speed, "S" selects slow test speed, and "M" enables manual speed. Twisted pair test: Turn on the power and insert the network cable plugs into the main tester and remote tester respectively. The main unit LEDs flash sequentially from 1 to G: Main tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G Remote tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G (RJ45), 1-2-3-4-5-6 (RJ12), or 1-2-3-4 (RJ11) If wiring is abnormal: - If line 3 is disconnected, the LED for position 3 on both the main tester and remote tester will not light up. - If more than one line is disconnected, the corresponding LEDs will not light up. If fewer than two lines are connected, no lights will illuminate. - If two lines are crossed (e.g., lines 2 and 4 are swapped), the main tester displays: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G, while the remote tester displays: 1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G. - If two lines are short-circuited, the main tester LEDs remain off, and the corresponding two LEDs on the remote tester glow dimly. If three or more lines are short-circuited, all affected LEDs are turned off. When testing patch panels or wall modules, use two compatible jumper cables (e.g., 110P4-RJ45) to connect to the tester. Coaxial cable test: If the cable is functional, the BNC lights on both ends flash green simultaneously.
