Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, the maintenance of normal bones, normal muscle function, the maintenance of normal teeth, the normal function of the immune system, and the process of cell division. It is recommended to take 1 x 2 ml in a glass of water or juice, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Sicherheitswarnungen: Oral vitamin D3 is well tolerated. Excessive doses may cause vitamin D toxicity with symptoms of hypercalcemia that may cause vomiting, nausea, weakness, and frequent urination. Toxicity usually occurs at levels exceeding 100150 ngml. Not suitable for children under 10 years. Carbamazepine, phenobarbital, and phenytoin increase the hepatic metabolism of vitamin D to inactive compounds, which reduces calcium absorption. Patients taking these products for 6 months or longer may require vitamin D and calcium supplements. Cholestyramine, laxatives can reduce the absorption of vitamin D. Orlistat decreases the absorption and blood levels of vitamin D. Corticosteroids may reduce blood levels of vitamin D. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within two months. Shake before use. Do not mix with hot drinks. It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach for optimal absorption. If you take it with food, it is better to take it before meals.
