CABBAGE Greyhound \nA compact and delicious variety of early cabbage. \nGreyhound produces early maturing pointed hearts in late summer and early autumn. \nNeat and compact the heads have very few outer leaves and as a result can be grown at a much higher density than other varieties. \nOne of our best summer cabbages, Greyhound heads are sweet and crunchy and have an excellent texture. \nPerfect for steaming, as a salad ingredient, making coleslaws or adding to stir-fries. \nA traditional early variety Greyhound is quick growing and can be sown up until late July and will still produce a crop for cutting in October. \nThis old favourite is very reliable and ideal for growing where space is at a premium. \nCabbage Greyhound is well suited to successional sowing throughout the season. \nAs with all cabbage it is advisable to give some protection against The Cabbage White Butterfly and also pigeons. \nGreyhound holds a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (AGM). \nDetailed growing instructions are on the back of each packet \nPacket contains: 310 seeds approx. \nIMMEDIATE \n \nDesign and colouring of packets may occasionally vary. \nWe want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Cabbage seed is checked and inspected visually before packing. .
