DAO by Naturitas Essentials is a food supplement with the enzyme Diamine Oxidase (DAO) that provides an exogenous supply of the enzyme diamine oxidase. DAO is suitable for people with diabetes, celiac disease and/or food intolerances. Additionally, it is indicated for long-term diets. Diamine oxidase (DAO) is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of dietary histamine. DAO contributes to the degradation of histamine in the intestine.Histamine is a molecule naturally present in numerous foods in the daily diet and participates in different biological processes.The tablets have a gastro-resistant coating, so the DAO enzyme is not released in the stomach but rather delayed into the small intestine. Take one tablet with a little water 20 minutes before main meals (3 times a day). *Must be swallowed whole, without chewing or splitting or breaking.
