This PWM speed controller supports 12V standard fan speed control and is compatible with computer water cooling PWM pump head speed adjustment. It is recommended to control the output power within 7-8 watts (12V 0.6A). The input port is USB Type-C female. Output is a standard PWM 4-pin fan port. Built-in DC-DC boost circuit (boosts USB 5V to 12V). Built-in PWM signal generator for speed adjustment. Fan speed adjustment range: 0-100%. Turn the knob clockwise to increase speed, counterclockwise to reduce speed. This governor is designed to be powered by a charging adapter or rechargeable battery with common output of 5V/2A. Higher specifications are uncommon. A 12V/0.7A fan load approaches the maximum capacity of a 5V/2A power source. Due to the compact size of the PWM governor, cooling capacity is limited. It is recommended to keep output current below 0.7A for short-term use and below 0.5A for long-term use. This refers to the current at maximum speed; fan current varies proportionally with speed.
