MPPS supports a range of controllers including ME7xx, MED9, MED17, EDC15/16/17, Delco, Trionic, and others. - Auto-detects ECU and processor type—no manual selection required. - Read/write capabilities for EEPROM, IROM, and XROM (where supported). - OBD flashing support for TPROT ECUs (current support limited to specific models). - TPROT/check feature to verify TPROT activation status without opening the ECU. - Supports up to TP12. - Supports current ECUs without password protection. - Supports unlocking of Simos PCR and Simos 8 ECUs. - Checksum correction supported for MED17. The MPPS is a programming tool designed for reading, writing, and checksum operations on vehicle ECUs. Additional features include: - Ability to communicate with certain ECUs that other tools cannot access—even with blank memory in some cases. - Selectable full or partial read/write (when supported by the ECU). - Adjustable read/write speed. - “Changes-only” write function for faster programming (when supported by the ECU). - Auto-detection of K-Line/CAN communication; option to manually select or bypass auto-detection. - Temporary immobilizer bypass for bench flashing on ME7 ECUs. - Boot mode support for ECUs with C167 and ST10 processors. - EEPROM read/write functions for compatible ECUs. - TPROT level checking for MED17 ECUs without opening the unit.
