High-quality Viking ring made of 925 sterling silver. The ring is artfully designed as a tree of life. Width: approx. 12 mm on the front, approx. 3 mm on the back. Weight: approx. 3 g. The ring is not solid, but openworked, so that the filigree design comes into its own. Background: According to Norse mythology, the tree of life Yggdrasil was the first tree created on earth by the gods of the Aesir. Its roots reach into the underworld, its crown into the sky, and so it stands as a symbol for the cosmos as a whole and the renewal of life. Yggdrasil is also known as World Tree or World Ash.
