It enables concurrent operation of mesh protocols like Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, and Zigbee alongside BLE, allowing smartphones to set up, debug, configure, and control mesh nodes. The DK supports product development using a variety of wireless protocols. It features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with capabilities such as 2 Mbps data rate, advertising extensions, and long-range communication. All analog and digital interfaces, and GPIOs are available via headers and edge connectors. The kit is for Arduino Uno Rev3 hardware compatible, meaning it can be easily interfaced with external device shields. The nRF5340 DK is typically powered via USB, and can be powered by a wide range of sources, within the supply range of 1.7 to 5.0 V. in.
