KING Home Sharpening Stone 1000 High-quality Japanese water stone, ideal for sharpening home kitchen knives. Medium grit (1000) is used for regular sharpening of the knife, provided that the blade has not been seriously damaged or completely dulled. Technical data: Dimensions - 176 x 52 x 15 mm Gradation - 1000 Stand included - yes Made in Japan Directions for use 1. Soak the stone in water for 10-15 minutes. 2. Hold the knife so that the blade touches the whetstone at an angle of 10-15 degrees. Then, pressing lightly on the blade, move it along the stone, pushing the knife away from you and towards you in uniform movements, all the time maintaining a constant angle of inclination. 3. Repeat the operation for both sides of the blade until the entire edge is sharpened and there are no burrs anywhere. 4. During sharpening, wet powder is released. Do not wipe or rinse it off, just continue with the action you were taking. The powder looks unsightly, but it is this residue that sharpens the edge. 5. After sharpening, rinse the stone in water and store it dry.
