Artrohelp's plant-based monounsaturated fatty acid complex is valued at a minimum of 15.6% cetyl myristate. Monounsaturated fatty acids are a natural component of synovial fluid and the phospholipid membrane of the body's cells. They generally contain phenolic content and contribute to the viscosity and flexibility of joints. Shark cartilage has a high content of the natural components that make up cartilage and connective tissues, providing elements for maintaining tissue structure, such as glucosamine, calcium, and phosphorus. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and to the maintenance of normal bone and muscle function. Vitamin D also contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy, protein and glycogen metabolism, reducing tiredness and fatigue.
