The product features a buzzer sound alert with a volume of approximately 100 decibels and includes an indicator light. To use: After inserting the test leads, touch the two ends of the wire being tested. If an audible and visual alarm sounds, the wire is conducting; otherwise, it is not conducting. This device has a built-in 9V battery; the cover can be opened to replace the battery. When the red and black probes are not in use, the circuit is open and there is no power consumption. When the measurement circuit is active, the loop current is about 20mA. This product is not intended for testing small electronic components or printed circuit boards.
